It rained today. Out on the roads the Sunday drivers didn’t seem to notice it and were soon slipping and sliding into each other like bumper cars at a county fair. Too many nuts behind the wheel. It probably doesn’t help that California’s public schools quit offering driver education classes years ago. Tight budgets chose to fund sports programs instead and, in the process, helped make California one of the worst driving experiences in the nation. So buckle up drivers, because unexpected things can happen out on the roads when it rains in southern California.
